Inquisitor Unit for Corporations?

Two different counter examples:

If Cuba suddenly switched from State Property to Free Market, International Telephone & Telegraph wouldn't suddenly start operating there again. They have been purged from all Cuban cities. The same is true for Dole Fruit.

In 1991, when Soviet Russia switched from SP to FM, Coca-Cola started working as an actual foreign corporation immediately... even though Coke's Fanta brand had been sold in Russia since 1979, and state-owned plants began bottling Coca-Cola in 1987. Coca-Cola was a non-function but existant corp. under SP for the Soviet Union which immediately began to function when it was switched to FM (indeed, in January of 1992 it went nationwide with franchise agreements!).

See the difference?
Yes. Computer games cannot accurately simulate every aspect of the real world. All I'm saying is that the general flavour you're talking about here exists in the game. It's not perfect, but nothing is. Adding Inquisitors based on that argument would ignore the existing mechanism and detract from it, making it even less relevant to the flavour than it already is.

Hey guys, I made one with python. Not perfect but it fits my mod. If anyone wants to tweak it feel free:

I don't see why you think this is different. Under State Property, corporations don't work. Just because there's still a little corporation icon on your city doesn't mean there's actually a corporation operating there. The flavour as I see it is that the corporation will come back if they're allowed, but they're not really there at the moment (or if they are, who cares?).

actually using state property or mercantilism the icon goes away.
