What I like about it is that it has the same level as authenticity as the intelligent designers do, ie none. And Pontiuth Pilot lighten up , if the only things that are funny to you are those known by a few then how does that make it funnier? Anyway the threads about ID not FSM.

Random "rant": The thing is that it is that pastafarianism, other than its original purpose as an ID parody, is often used as a parody of religion itself. A common quip given that it is just as valid as any other religion, for example. More common would be the replacement of the Invisible Pink Unicorn with the FSM. And that bugs theists.

Of course, it doesn't make it any less true, but it isn't going to win you any points when debating (or trying to convince) a theist to trivialize what he believes in in such a blunt matter, no matter how silly it actually is.

Bear in mind I am a reverend of the church of FSM now so, no noodly proselytising unless it's strictly under the guidelines of your church, any mention of ninjas and pirates accordingly.
