I am playing a huge monarch game as the Maya and around the beginning of the Industrial ages something strange happened.
First off notice that one of my rivals the Hittites only have 1 city. Their capital was in such a food poor start they were never able to make any settlers throughout the whole game. Once they got to size 3 they would starve the next turn.
Edit: Actually I was wrong. My old screen shot was on a babylonian city. Nevertheless they still ONLY have one city! They did have more before but still they made a dumb decision as you can see in this thread.
Now comes the interesting thing the Hittites just did...
Why would the hittites declare war on the mongols when their only city is completely surrounded by mongol territory? I expect the hittites to be wiped out in a couple turns because of this.
What could of caused the AI to make such a terrible decision?
