Interesting Screenshots

A turn later, a Norscan settlement appeared out of nowhere, so I just settled on the spot.

Been there and done that - even on a wheat tile. :mischief:

Four leaders a short time after starting my first war. I can't have more than 20 kills in this game.

Pretty good considering my Champions had to be promoted to elite first (no barbarians).

Three armies and fourth leader for Pentagon. :D

I don't think I've ever seen one area's improvements completely destroyed (unless I was the one doing it).

I had a game once (Monarch level, pangaea map, I believe) where the Zulus and the Babylonians were on this isolated island-continent. By the time I had conquered the continent in the late Middle Ages or early Industrial Age, these two civs were still in Antiquity fighting it out - Impis vs. Babylonian Bowmen, with no one getting the upper hand, and the entire land devoid of improvements.

Okay, I have to ask- why the weird settling pattern, what mod is this, and why is your capital so woefully devoid of infrastructure?

I know I've played it; I think it's Rise and Rule. Irrigation and mining have to be researched, and irrigation doesn't come as early as one would expect.

I think it's called Rise and Rule when it's for Conquest. It's called Double your Pleasure for PTW. Mining comes late, and irrigation even later.

choxorn: It's a very good RCP ring!

I know Double Your Pleasure comes with Complete, does Rise and Rule? I can't remember, and it would be a waste for me to download it if I already have it.

This is actually one from my story I've had for a couple of months, but haven't posted yet, not here at least.

Now, I've seen the AI screw up the use of the armies they get in this scenario pretty badly, but I think this is the only time I've ever seen them put a lone Horse in it and defend a city forever. Usually they at least put multiple units in, or move it around a bit.

Nicely done!

You can also see my color problem. Sumeria is in the east and Maya are in the west, but they are the same exact color and right next to each other on the power bar.

I tried the 31 colors mod, the colors changed, they were then both the same different color.

Is that Sumeria or Maya with the Infantry in the one tile India owns?

Sumeria. There are two infantry on that tile. The eTank by the airfield make quick work of them then. You can find saves from the game in this thread. You can't find this save though, as it only looked like this for part of a turn, I conquered the land that turn, and build a city to claim that tile same turn.

Did you make sure to kill those Infantry next to your undefended Artillery stack? ;)

Of course, I happened to win that game tonight. My first emperor win.

How did the Inca end up being Grey?

Havent seen this before, 3 civs: French, Zulu, and Incans all going for the same spot to settle at the same time this early on in a game.

I thought they were all just really mad at your scout.
