Interesting Screenshots

Actually, I wasn't really going to disband it- but I had just disbanded another one nearby that was trapped (I'm not letting the Mayans get their worker back!), saw the message, didn't take a screenshot, and then I thought the message was funny so I hit this worker's disband button to create the screenie.

@Theryman: I am trying to conquer the world here, I need to be in Monarchy. :p

Don't they have Marines?
This is something I have never seen the AI civs build in any of my games and they didn't here either, although FWIW, my spy in America did see that she had built 5 nuclear subs. I heeded Lord Emsworth's suggestion and gifted a small city within my continent to the Dutch just in case any marines came to shore on that little island.

I have seen the AI build Marines a couple of times, but only one or two of them, and they don't seem to be aware of the Amphibious Assualt ability.

If you play conquest only and get deep into the tech tree, you will see marines. The AI rarely attacks coastal towns with them, instead used them as it would any attacker.

In this game I was in constant warfare with Portugal, Persia and the Aztecs. As I was healing my forces and building some culture in my newly conquered cities, I noticed India workers crossing into that single tile completely surrounded by my borders. It was only after he began working on it did I realized it belonged to India!

At any rate, I soon gave up on this game as there was some anomalies. For one thing, I could swear I had two golden ages - and early one after I had built a wonder and a second one after my muskateer successfully defended itself.
Also, only one civ had coal! There was none on my continent and it looked as though there was only a single source, as the Ottomans were the only civ building railroads.

I'm not sure if it's something to do with using Sn00py's terrain or what, but it sure dampened my enthusiasm to continue the game.

That square is no bug- Bangalore just has enough culture to control the square. It also has enough culture to control the 4 squares immideately west, Northwest, North, and Northeast of the single square, but those squares are closer to your cities, which have enough culture to control them, but not that single square. Just wait until Calixtlahuaca, Texcoco, or Tzintzuntzen has 100 culture and that square would be yours. It would be yours already if Bangalore had less than 1,000 culture.

As for the Dual GA's, and the Coal, those are bugs.

I just had this happen to me, but with a viking berserk. I didn't even know they could do that, and I was so surprised I just stopped playing and stared angrily at my monitor. :badcomp:

Yup they more likely to use Zerk for amph, not sure why. Does not matter that you have undefended coastal towns. Mind you I have had them use marines to attack a coast, just only a few times.

Things are looking good for Wei (the blue player)

And later in the day!:D

Why dont they stop sending the units down there!

The ships have lethal bombardment too

Those aren't Dromons- this is some Ancient China Scenario, am I right?

Probably a bug of sorts, but count the number of units in the second transport (it's CivIII Complete).

Yes you often see the display not match the true allocation, there ar ejust out of order. can be very annoying in a large stack and you want of particular transport.

You happen to be right, they are heavy arty ships and i made a mistake, no lethal bombardment but they can bombard 3 times each turn.

The scenario used mainly units from the regular civ3 game and is called TTK (The Three Kingdoms), an ancient china scenario.

Here's one: I had to get my slaves past an earlier-bombarded hills tile with alluminum. I decided to sacrifice one and build a colony on the alluminum so the other 4 could move on the railroad network and get to where they needed to be a turn quicker. Now, the tile has a colony, alluminum and a crater, and I think it looks kinda funny, and weird.
