Well, okay, the war between me and Spain breaks the symmetry, but other than that, it's symmetrical!

How is their best unit a worker?

haha yeah I got that inspiration too and just finished up a largemap version with three indias, three greeces, three babylons, and two germanies. Nothing funnier than seeing "Greece and Greece have signed a military alliance against the Greeks!", or Jaipur 4 next to Ur 3

I'm sure this is nothing unusual, but it made me laugh... Poor Russia. I'm DOMINATING everyone, simply ruling all, and, through a trade, find out that there is still aciv I haven't met. I'm researching electricity, and I meet these guys... (look at the CivAssist window in the top right to see what I can sell them)

Reminds me of a game I played recently as the Germans. When I was mid industrial I found the Indians. On the trade screen I could give them pretty much the same techs as in your pic, but without Republic. When I got their map it was a small island, slightly bugger than the Russians have in that pic. I invaded a few hundred years later with 6, yes 6, Modern Armour, and quickly took all 7 of their cities. I think they had something like 8 spearmen, 4 workers, 2 war elephants and 4 archers. I laughed a lot. Shame I didnt get a pic though.
