Invisible heads / graphics issues

I realize my question is probably answered somewhere but Ive been reading all day and can either not find it or figure out if it applies the same to me if it does.

According to the checking tool, my graphics card is not acceptable. But I dont understand the answer.

Video Card
Recommended: 64 MB 3D Video Card with Hardware Transform & Lighting (Radeon 9800+ / GeForce 5600+)
You Have: IGP 340M (ATI RS200M) FAIL: Sorry, your video card does not meet this recommended requirement.
Video Card Features - Minimum attributes of your Video Card Video RAM: Required - 64 MB , You have - 64.0 MB
Video Card 3D Acceleration: Required - Yes , You have - Yes
Video HW Transform & Lighting: Required - Yes , You have - Yes

I have checked the lists provided and have no idea what specs my graphics card has but it seems to pass the three tests but not the initial one.

I have installed civ 4 and was able to start up the game. I got the blue screen of death at first when I started but Ive been able to work around that for now. I can apparently play the game but the leader heads are invisible showing floating teeth and eyes with no face. I think I can probably play but not see all the graphics. Ive read about ATI type errors and driver updates that can be done but this seems more for people that are getting a specific "rendering" related crash and Im not sure this would fix my problem. I guess I could be more computer savvy but I would appreciate any specific help you guys might be able to give as to what I can do. I am trying this on a laptop so Im not sure I can update the video card anyways.

I'm having the same problem. The game plays very well but whenever I meet with my other leaders to trade or plot all I see are eyes, teeth and shoulder-boards. It would be spooky (Happy Halloween!) if it weren't so darn laughable.
I'm playing on an older Toshiba laptop which is a bit of a pig. I suspect its the chipset.
Anyways, the game plays well and I'm on my way to a domination victory in a few more moves.
Overall it was worth the wait, but "Topper meets Civ IV"?
