IOT: Here and Now

All income into 20 factories (put in random provinces, preferably not near borders), capital in Moscow

Any last minute sign-ups?

Note that you can join at any time, you'll just be claiming an established nation.

Western Sahara!
All into factories, which will be evenly spread between the provinces
Any leftovers into armies

Also, shouldn't you have Palestine, Taiwan, Abkhazia, Kosovo, South Osetia, Transnistria, Nagorno-Karabakh, Somaliland and other unrecognized nations with control over their territory?

Kosovo is, but, for reasons of simplification, I've removed the others (along with three recognized nations that were too small for the map)
Western Sahara is represented as it has controversial status (wasn't sure if I should give it to Morocco or not, given the RL complications of its ownership).

In the interest of easing the track of national statistics, I put together this OpenOffice spreadsheet to calculate income and unit support (it doesn't handle trade, though). It's formatted, so punch in the numbers and it takes care of the rest!

The size penalty, being a percentage, is rounded normally, so if its effect on gross income is less than 0.5 it rounds down; basically, nil effect until you reach 10 provinces. If CivOasis intended to round up, I can post a revised template.

Glad for the help, I've been building an excel sheet for this.
I don't see any equations, though, data's all coming up as 0?

De facto it's mostly Moroccan and de jure not a nation (I think) but screw reality, Western Sahara is awesome.

For the others, you could have just edited them.

^Correct. Just complicated enough to warrant being independent, while not enough to warrant being ignored as a nation.

Hm. Did you try inputting numbers under 'Provinces' and/or '# Total' columns? Those are the bases for the formulae.

Attached is a possible map with the following changes:
Adding Palestine (2 provinces, -2 from Israel)
Adding Taiwan (4 provinces, -4 from China)
Adding Abkhazia (1 province, -1 from Georgia)
Adding South Osetia (1 province, -1 from Georgia)
Adding Montonegro (was not on for unknown reason, 1 province)
Adding Nagrono Karabakh (1 province, -1 from Azerbaijan)
Adding Transnistria (1 province, -1 from Ukraine (I think the border was slightly off for Moldova, that should have been Moldovan territory before)
Adding Somaliland (1 province, -1 from Somalia)
Adjusting Lebanon/Israel border (+1 to Israel, -1 to Lebanon)
Adjusting Kaliningrad border (+1 to Lithuania, -1 to Poland, Same for Russia.)
Spliting Cyprus (North goes to Turkey) (+1 to Turkey, Same for Cyprus)
Bermuda to Britan (Britan +1)

It appears I am unable to attach the map!:(

1) Not attached
2) Do we really need more nations?
3) Kaliningrad pre-discussed
4) Taiwan pre-discussed, removed by popular decision
5) Most of those weaken fairly small nations - not necessarily a good idea.
Although, I will consider, afert map is posted.

Yes! cropped it and it works!:)

Montenegro missing was an error, so that will be changed.
As for the others, still considering.
