Well, I'm excited. Apprently we're not the only ones. As of five minutes ago the Civ IV Preorder edition was the second most popular game on amazon.
Is anyone else HIGHLY excited over Civ4!!?!?

I'm just happy to see a new game, but not that excited. I would have liked to stop playing games, but Civ4 will be without doubt a strong game and it would be silly to not dive into this. I currently have some last PBEMs in Civ3 but they may finish in a long time, so I'm not sure how I'll handle this. 
I can't remember last time I started a Civ3 game on my own, since I mostly play PBEMs and SP competitions sometimes... Not sure when I get Civ4, I have no plan atm. I'll first see if Firaxis didn't mess up the foreign versions. Don't even know if I should buy the US version for a change. I regularly check the Civ4 news but I'm not analyzing the details, since some will change anyway, and what's the good of it when you don't play the game and will forget that within hours ? As you can see, I'm not that excited - yet.

Yes, few of those who try very hard to survive eventually make it to the helicopter, that also depends on some luck...
Ok, for Civ4, I mean after patches and patches, expension and expansion you might finally get a close to perfect Civ4 but only in "Civ4 complete" which is the GREAT END of Civ4.
Don't worry, I will watch the process of many who struggle and make it to "CIV4 complete" just like I watch Jurassic park movies. I do wish you are among the survivors...

Am I excited? I fear my head just might implode... all kidding aside I'll wait a few days see how the game pans out and then be hopelessly addicted if all goes well.
