I'm happy with my Asus mobo, I've had it for about 2 years now with no problems. Has some nifty features too.

No. They're a major OEM for many other brands, though, so you may easily still end up buying their products.

Yeah really. ASUS is a major manufacturer for hobbyists and make their own lines of commercial computers also.

Subjective opinion only. I've had too many of their products fail on me. Actually, all of them - a few boards, DVD, LCD... yes, it took me a while to blacklist them, but they're staying blacklisted for me.
