As the title says. In civ 5 and all i can remember, the camera focused on areas you could see in. for example if i had a scout outside germany and france to watch a conflict, the camera just stand still on the area u had when u clicked NEXT TURN. i want the camera to show me battles (involving player but also AI) that occurs. I cant understand why this isnt standard and havent shown up in 2 updates.

i want to see the action :)

I personally don't think I would use the feature much, but there are people out there that would enjoy it. I'm always in support of more options, no matter how big or small the features associated with them may be. I voted yes.

thank you Deuce mate. may i ask, what do you do when youve pressed NEXT? just leave it still or do you roam around checking your lands or trying to follow the action? its so great u understand the battlecam feauture. May i ask why you dont think you wouldnt use it. one time i played it said germany was killed. i didnt even know they were in a war although i had a scout stationed between france and germany. would you like the cam to show you these skirmishes?

Definately should be an option HuskyPeter just one that can be switched on and off via an icon on the screen (dont want to dig through multiple option screens for something I would turn on and off regularly).

I want to see some action for sure but at other times I recall it taking up time as I watched AI battle I didnt care about. If I could hotkey this on and off quickly between turns it would be the ultimate for when I want to plan between turns and when I want to see world events.

I just probably wouldn't use it myself because it would make turns take longer. I definitely see why people might want that feature though.
