The originator of this chain letter does little more than regurgitate an article from The Onion titled "Harry Potter Books Spark Rise In Satanism Among Children." He or she even offers The Onion site as confirmation of the claims. So, we have to wonder if he or she actually knows that The Onion is a news satire.

Being in christian circle i have heard all this before, however, I highly doubt that any of it is true.
I have never read harry potter (and don't intend to), but i have seen the first movie (forbidon fruit you see) and it is little more dangerous to kids then micky mouse with his magic tricks.
Its a good thing they are reading, I do worry alittle about the kids who get obsessed though.
