is it just me or is the "road to war" mod very slow?

The additions Dale made to the coding, such as the historical events, really slow it down. It's virtually unplayable on my computer.

There is a fix you can apply to your python (script) files that removes the "Bitter Winter" feature of the mod, something that takes a lot of interturn time. Hopefully someone can provide a link to that.

It's pretty damn slow, but playable.
