Hi, we have a problem with our last polish GOTM - guy who created the save file is _sure_ that he did allowed cultural victory, but when we reach 100k points there is no victory pop up, any victory message exactly like cultural victory would not have been allowed  Is there a tool or other way to check in this sav file if this way of victory was enabled at the start? Is there other explanation why after 100.000 cult. points there is no victory message and points? thx in advance for help :)

First: Check with the victory status screen <f8>
Second: What size of map do you use? (On huge maps you would need 160,000 points)

You're playing C3C, right? If so, hit F8 to display the victory status screen, where all active victory conditions together with their requirements are listed. (see attached image)

Yes, under F8 points are calculating OK - it is e.g. 100870 pts now and still no cultural victory :(

It's normal size map so it's 100k for cultural victory, at least should be :(

Isn't there any tool that shows settings of game from .sav file? :(

I can also attach here this save file from 1650 year with 100.000 pts + if it would help..

Hm, when I think about it, wasn't there more to the cultural victory condition than just the absolute value?

Ah, yes, taken from the info center:

"A new cultural victory can occur if one of your cities amasses 20,000 culture points, or if your entire empire amasses at least 100,000 culture points and no rival civ has more than half of your cultural value."

Yes, Grumbler is right -- and that final point in bold is currently omitted from the manual, Civilopedia and the Victory Status screen.
