Is it possible to have multiple leaders for civ?

Hello. I'm doing my first simple mod which just add a new leader to Russia. Technically, XML doesn't prevent to have many leaders for civ and I have 2 Russian leader in the selection screen. But when I actually click the leader and select, the selected leader remains always Catherine (default one for Russia).

Did I miss something or there's such limitation 1 civ = 1 leader and I have to delete Catherine / add new civ.

You should check out JFD's True Alternative Leaders, it's not perfect but it's a start.

I've checked this mods and it looks like all of them add a new leader with a new civilization. So I'll take it as 1:1 relations and multiple leaders are not allowed practically
