Is it possible?

It's possible. The way you describe your situation, it's probable. If your junior and senior years are good, your freshman and sophomore years won't be too important. An extracurricular or two is a good idea, but not necessary. Find something you're interested in and it'll be easy. Participation is more important than success.

I expected to go to a top-notch university since I was in elementary school. I went to the wrong school and quit after a bad year. Now I'm trudging through community college courses to rebuild my transcript and get into the right school. Learn from my failure: More important than busting your ass on grades is figuring out what you really want to do, so you don't waste time doing the wrong thing.

It is funny to look back upon this thread, soo many years ago. It wasn't easy, but I made it. I am currently about to be a senior at Texas Tech majoring in Economics, I took the advice I was given to heart. Just wanted to post a final update ;)

oh wow. I wasn't around CFC back then, but it's cool to get an update. I didn't even notice the date when I first looked at the OP. And I was about to give advice too. :) Now if I could only learn to look at the date of OP's...

d'oh necro.

Start applying for internships/recent grads jobs now is my advice. It's not the best job market either.
