Is it realistic to get Petra on immortal?

On immortal not difficult to get Petra. Usually i go writing then directly to Petra.

Agreed. With a desert start, I can usually plan things out to finish Liberty just as I tech up to Petra, then use a GE on it ASAP from the Liberty closer.

Further, under very favorable conditions, I've been able to hard-build Petra on both Emperor and Immortal. On Emperor, I've done it at least several times. On Immortal, once or twice. Usually, the best method is the one I mentioned with closing Liberty, IMO.
