[BTS] Is it wise to continue pumping out WC when you can already build HA.

Egypt's War Chariots are only one strength below Horse Archers, are cheaper to build and have bonus against axemen. Is it a good idea to ignore Horse Archers and continue using them?

I'd say yes, 30:hammers: unit that has 5 str offers better bang for buck than a 50:hammers: unit with 6 str. Both are immune to first strikes, but the former has 10% withdrawal chance, latter 20%. That shouldn't tip the scales a lot.

In good food cities HAs can be better for 2-pop whips.
Combo probably works best, once you see Spears and Swords defending cities i would certainly like some HAs.

But then again, teching HBR should be questionable with Egypt ;)
Usually you want stuff like Currency & CoL after WCs, unless they failed securing lots of land.

It depends on the level a lot I'd say.

On the higher levels (Immortal+), you should have taken all you can afford to keep with WCs, unless you butchered the attack. Like, you're not gonna take a few cities with WCs and then get to HBR to take even more cities before you have reached some key economic techs and grown the land you have a bit to have the economy to support a lot of cities. If you do happen to get HBR through fortunate trading though I'd definitely mix some HA in against the strong defenders.

On the lower levels it might be more to the point to keep pursuing military techs and just go Ghengis Khan on multiple Civs in the early game, but even then I'd still be building a lot of WCs.
