I used to play on a 2010 laptop and had to play on low graphics settings.
Recently bought a new desktop pc and can now enjoy high setting graphics. But i was playing linked upto my 2006 LCD flatscreen TV. The scrolling around the map in the game gave a "sticky" non smooth look.
I thought it was due to response time on my tv. I was planning on buying a decent pc monitor anyway so bought one yesterday with a response time of 2ms.
To my surpise and dissapointment, scrolling is still not smooth even with low graphics settings and vsync turned on.
Does anyone know, what affects the scrolling and smoothness of graphics movement ? Is it just the game, or is it the CPU, graphics card or anything else ?
My specs :
Intel quad core i5-2320 - 3GHZ
8 meg RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6670 grpahics
Samsung 23" LED 2ms monitor
Would have thought that would have been good enough for a smooth game?! Perhaps the graphics card is to blame ? I intended to upgrade it. But only if it will help
