Is there such thing as a "Jesus" card?

Well Jews use their "card" to get similar treatment if they deem something unfair. I don't know if Christians can claim to do such a thing since they've usually been the opressors, not hte oppressed.

People in the UK will know the comdeins David Baddiel and Frank Skinner. Baddiel is Jewish and Skinner is a Catholic. Everytime Baddiel says something annoy Skinner, Frank replies "well you killed Jesus."

I don't think so. They are the majority unless they wander into an atheist forum or a non-christian one. Besides they have only been oppressed by the romans for a brief period of time and since they were all jewish or those in the surrounding area anyone outside this area can't claim they were oppressed. If they were getting unfair treatment, sure. But you probably won't see that very often. Discrimination is not usually a problem for those firmly in control. What, would hte complaint be "I'm a white, male, Christian, American, and I have so many opportunities in life I can't choose. It's so UNFAIR!"

The notion of "reverse disrimination" is pulled out by incompetents who can't make their own way in life. Anyone who thinks differently should take a good hard look at themselves and what they have done or not done with opportunities in their life.

I tend to intentionally treat people worse who play the race card, and I'd do the same if someone played the Jesus card. Note that if someone is actually being rascist then this doesn't count as playing the race card.

Yes, I've seen/heard it many times, from persons with different religions, not only from Chrstians. Every person uses it's religion(those who do it, not ALL the persons) as an excuse for his current condition in job/wealth/social status.

Luckily for them, they don't seem to be willing to argue with me very often(about their religion's "card"), because my tongue can become surprisingly sharp and bitter without saying ANY bad words!

First, those were not religionists, Curt. They were either liars, dilusional, or educated in a warped incarnation of the religion. I realise this contradicts what I said above, but there are many definitions for the word "Christian"

Second, current individuals are not responsible for the actions of ancestral others. Unless you believe wrongs are inherited, but that would require you to believe in something outside science textbooks

Either way, I dont pull out the Jesus card, thats would be just blaming God for the ditch that I dug for myself. I have known people to be refused a job because they had a degree from a Christian University, in addition to the relevant degrees and qualifications. But they just figured that there are some people it is not worth working with, if you were Christian or not.

Christian persection in the western world does exist on a small level, but that is so small, that 90% of people who whinge about it have no right to. I'm more worried about the people in other countries, where religious freedom is nil, and choice is punished with death, legal or illegal.

The difference is that here, any unfairness is generally based on misunderstandings, that can easily be pointed out. Over there, nobody even tries to understand.

I've claimed to be from a Catholic High School in Denmark, allowing me to get in front in line to mount the dome in the Saint Peter's Church in Rome. I (or rather we) claimed that we had that day and had to go home quickly, and having dreamt of getting inside the dome all of our lives, we would hate to miss it because of a queue.

So, in special situations (and special places), it is possible to play a "Jesus Card", yes.
