Issues with world screen - Fonts.

Hello all,

As you can see above, I keep getting these blue blocks in place of the text that should be there. I'd fiddled around with the graphics settings to no avail, and searching the forum didn't turn anything up. Oh, and I'm using the patch.

Help?

Have you installed 1.52 patch, it fixes some font problems from earlier versions.

Yes, I'm using 1.52.

I should probably also mention that all the other text in the game works, in terms of menus and such. It's only the text below the cities.

Interesting you say 1.52 patch 'fixes' some font problems, since Ive installed it, I no longer have any text in my game at all, as in menus, drop down boxes, etc, which means its unplayable as I dont know which menu choice is which. I really dont want to re-install, as Ive got a few mods that I like (which prob caused this prob no doubt), does anyone know an easy way to fix this that doesnt involve re-installing?

Do you have any mods or Harkonnen's patch installed? Harks patch and many mods don't work with the new patch.

I resolved the problem by installing Service Pack 2. Thanks for the help everybody.
