Italicized words?

I am playing BtS 3.19 and have a problem where all the words are italicized and spaced far apart. I was using BUG but it was still like that without BUG. Please Help!!

looks like for some reason the game font is no longer installed
is this windows vista?

Yes this is vista. how would the fonts have become uninstalled? does it have anything to do with installed mods?

I have no idea what might have happened - but its an easy fix really:
go to
\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Resource\Fonts
and right click on the file called sylfaen.ttf
one option should be "install font" to that.
