well, ming is right that it is a 3 way street. if mods stick to what they need to do, and admins stick to what they need to do, then I'll stick to what I need to do. if mods or admins cross the line, then its only logical and reasonable that I will cross the line. hence, he mod section concern's me very much.
That's a great attitude to have. I suggest you take it to its logical conclusion and act like a total ass until the only person left to mod is yourself.
I have no problem with the dispension of justice, but often the mods around here have no interest in that - and with you talking that way I can't imagine that you aren't one of them. There isn't a rolleyes big enough in the world to properly respond to your ill thought-out post.

A well thought out initial post, some of the others...well, best left unsaid.
Basically, if people follow thier own common sense, moderators need never act offically, or sometimes over-react as the case may be, but this doesn't absolve posters, they must also show responcibility in posting.
Nobody minds a quick quip now and then, but most know when they go to far.

*Moderators - Administrators lay down the lines for the Moderators. The lines are often changed and aren't watched
*Posters - Post here at CFC~Whine all the time like Pellaken for example. Bring up issues and cry about them to try and change site policies.(Like changing the site will really make your life's any better) Disobey Moderators and the Administrator by posting dumb sh**. You post dumb sh** to either get under people's skin, or your just an idiot.
I hope this clears up any confusion that my previous post may have caused.

If you dislike the people who frequent these forums, then why are you a part of it? If you dislike dealing with the usual problems that crop up on any board, why are you a moderator? Maybe it's time to rethink your CFC priorities, SunTzu.

Kilroy, Pellaken causes trouble seemingly for the hell of it. To put it politely, he is very tiresome. All this fuss he kicks up looks to me like a bid for attention. Whether he is an egotist or pathetically lonely doesn't matter. He's causing trouble. If things around here were as bad as he likes to whine they are, he'd already be perma-banned. If I were a mod, that would have happened some time ago.
I do my hmmm well i guess u can call it a job, i don't dislike the site or the forum, i dislike people like you and pellaken that have something stuck up your asses, possibly your own heads.

on that note by switch, us mods get tired of people like pellaken, posting things just to get to people.

Look guys, this forum should be a piece of cake to moderate. You have some argumentative people running around, sure. But, it's not like the subject matter here attracts people looking for a flame-fest. The reason you guys have people like Pellekan running around and *sigh* I suppose me too apparently, is because in spite of the above you still have this strict gestapo-style banning policy in place. It isn't necessary.
Personally, I think the problem is that TF has given a bunch of fifteen-year olds the power to ban at will. There should be maybe three people who can ban. You SunTzu, in a perfect CFC, could only recommend bans. Oh well.

But what is the difference? Which mod begged TF for this power? Not only that, when you get pissed off that TF turned down one of your bans, a ban you believe was perfectly legit, do you focus this rage and go look for more people to ban or what?
