We can no longer have "The Five" through .... Someone else stole 1 or 2 of my idea's for them, but I still think we need someone who's job is to bring more people to the demogame.

Yes, it is a bit necessary. Except for PMing each person individually, this is the best way to focus attention on the upcoming event. As it will have a limited window of opportunity and is an official RPG event, getting people aware of it is important enough to warrant a sticky thread. This thread will only be sticky until the event begins.
