JNES IV: Gobal Conquest

Hmm, a British UU...

I'm thinking either SAS - terrific in defence and great in attack, or Harrier - terrific in air defence, great in attack and defence.

Depending on how much they cost, I'll decide which one I want lol.

SAS: 15c

Harrier: 25c

And I think I have yet to clear how many flight units are alowed on a carrier. And the answer is 3.

Also, still needing orders from Australia, so update postponed until I get them. If I don't get them by tomorrow night, 8:00 PM PST, then I will have to do the update without them :(

Welcome to the game, Ma$on. Russian orders have already been completed for this turn, and I will send you all the details fo Russia so you may commence order sending next turn ;)

-Jason

If anyone has found out yet, you muct anounce it officially:

"(UU name here) is (nations name here) Specialized UU."

Or something to that extent! ;) So far no one has officially gotten a UU yet.

2nd turn update.

Everyone: I made a few fatal decisions in the way I am updating/keeping track of nations income etc. If there is a problem, which there probably is, I will fix it. As the transition was hard, I might have altered a few nation's expenditures for this turn a bit. ;)

Panama loses the stripes

“Completely vacant, huge Brazilian forces claimed Panama to be under their command, and marshal law was initiated. The local militia weren’t to saddened. Instant homes were set up in the Brazilian honor, as the Unites States flag was burned in a fury, and the Brazilian flag raised.

Naval Battles at sea

The Americans finally took an offensive today with the issuing of the Navy to intercept the small navy to the south. Suspected to have been a long time to get there, the Americans met their foe close to land. American battleships began combat, but were losing the battle. Finally, victory came from below when the U.S. Nemmit (a sub) was able to sink the two destroyers while they were busy with the BB’s.

Japan invades Indonesia

Early in the morning, citizens of Indonesia could what looked like small white clouds fall from the sky. In reality, it was paratroopers of the Japanese paratrooper corps.

Britain: The Empire of the seas

Have the most vast and widest Navy in the world, the British take pride among sailing. Their maritime vessels strike British power from Europe to the new world, and, even though it is long, it still travels in bulk. ‘If there were two words to describe Britain, it would be Naval Supremacy,’ answered an American from New York. Britain is known around the world for her vast Naval operations, but one nation that is yet to be known is that of the country down under, Australia. Even with her navies not as cultural as Britain, it may still be one of the most powerful on Earth.’

This is BBC news, and I’m Patrick Richards.

(P.S. If you have been wondering why I do these mescellanias news reports is that I try to add a more realistic touch to the game, but mostly too familiarize each player to one another’s nation, since you can’t see how many units are in each province/sea. I will be doing a different player-ran nation each update.)

Ok, now that that is done, the update map is on the following post and here are the available funds for each nation:

Britain: 82c
USA: 73c
Brazil: 96c
Italy: 71c
Germany: 120c
CAR: 85c
Australia: 104c
Russia: 69c
Israel: 57c
Japan: 57c
China: 51c

To The World
From America

We, as a peaceful nation, has been attacked by a power-hungry monster of a nation! Please, we ask for help. We as that Britain remembers the past glory and friendship between our nations, and that Germany remembers the post WW2 era, the time of friendship between our nations. And CAR to remember all the humanitarian aid American deposited to your families during the time of need. Please, Australia, we ask for help from you too. These are dire times for free nations!

We're afraid we can't help you at the moment as the territories currenntly gained by Brazil rightfully belong to this great Latin American nation. But we will help you if the Brazilians push further than Monterrey.

To:Italy+Britain

I await your response on my MPP/DPP offer.

From: CAR
You have been wise enough to realize that Europes time is over as a colonial power, we hope that you will reconsider your MPP/DPP offer with Italy, as they are opressing Africans throughout their colonies. We have pledged ourself to liberating the natives one way or the other, and if you would join in on Italys side, things would be more difficult. Otherwise i wish that we will continue to prosper together.

Jason, how much was N Sudan worth, 3cpt?

i'm confused about why i still show a fleet in WAO. i thought it got sunk by the US (all i had was the 2 destroyers). should that fleet be american?
also, how come the capitols and the armies look exactly the same? is that on purpouse?

To world
From Brazil

We would like to thank the wise leaders of the world for not interfering with our fight with the americans. We thank you for remembering the history of the 'War on Drugs'.
As you all remember the Americans used force to 'confiscate' lands from our bretherin supposedly to stop 'import' of drugs into their country, only to turn around and start growing the stuff at faster rates then we ever could. Now that we have the military might to stand up to those thieving, lying SOBs we are taking the land back and giving it to the bankrupted cartels that have suffered great discomforts in these 25 years of not being allowed onto THEIR OWN land to grow the drugs they have for so many generations been tought to grow.

Roddy: There are no "capital" marks. Only marks on land are armies, and in seas, navies. What is in those armies and navies are a secret unless invastigated. And your right about the navies, consider it changed.

NSU is worth 5c

im prety sure i got NOTHING in my capitol, its still got a dot on it. thats why i asked

i know i'm taking this whole 'drug country' thing a bit far, but...

what would the following UU cost:
-------------------
Cartel: (drug cartel's personal 'protection' army)
no attack
best possible defence
(well funded, know the terrain like the back of their weed leaves)
can only move the turn its built (i build it, move it to a territory, and it stays there for the rest of its life)
----------------
thats the basic unit. i dont know what it would cost, but i would also like you to price them with the following 'variations' so i can pick the one i like the price on the most.

variant 1. Base unit, but there can only be same # of them in a territory as the territory produces cash (ie a 5 cr territory can only hold 5 of these). this would simulate that only a limited number of cartels can operate in a regeon.

variant 2. Base unit, without the 'cant move' restriction. basicaly a defence only infantry. (just curious how much it would cost)

variant 3. base unit+ has ability to 'suicide spy' meaning, i can sacrifice one of them to find out what forces are in an enemy territory bordering the one the Cartel is stationed in. (this is kind of like they go over and to join/infiltrate the other guy's army, but most get shot/jailed in the process so i loose the unit. can only spy on territories right next to the Cartel's 'home turf' cause farther then that they just dont care.)

We are greatfully in your debt. May the American and African people prosper in an overgrowing economy together.

.:KNAS:. you posted a "good attack, good defense" UU. Do you mean for it to be worse then a regular infantry? Remember, mediocre is better then god ;).

Reinform me of what you mean, then I will give you a different price ;) Sorry for not catching this sooner.
