2nd turn update.
Everyone: I made a few fatal decisions in the way I am updating/keeping track of nations income etc. If there is a problem, which there probably is, I will fix it. As the transition was hard, I might have altered a few nation's expenditures for this turn a bit.

Naval Battles at sea
The Americans finally took an offensive today with the issuing of the Navy to intercept the small navy to the south. Suspected to have been a long time to get there, the Americans met their foe close to land. American battleships began combat, but were losing the battle. Finally, victory came from below when the U.S. Nemmit (a sub) was able to sink the two destroyers while they were busy with the BBs.

Britain: The Empire of the seas
Have the most vast and widest Navy in the world, the British take pride among sailing. Their maritime vessels strike British power from Europe to the new world, and, even though it is long, it still travels in bulk. If there were two words to describe Britain, it would be Naval Supremacy, answered an American from New York. Britain is known around the world for her vast Naval operations, but one nation that is yet to be known is that of the country down under, Australia. Even with her navies not as cultural as Britain, it may still be one of the most powerful on Earth.
This is BBC news, and Im Patrick Richards.
(P.S. If you have been wondering why I do these mescellanias news reports is that I try to add a more realistic touch to the game, but mostly too familiarize each player to one anothers nation, since you cant see how many units are in each province/sea. I will be doing a different player-ran nation each update.)
