Update Turn 2!
The colonial powers begin to swell, and this update shows where each country is likely to concentrate in.
The Spanish seem to fancy the rain forests of South America, and the hot deserts of Africa. It is apparent that their interests venture no more then these two continents, and while they are close to being trapped in Africa, it looks like the Spanish destiny relies on South America.
The British are close to the last largest colonial power, only having three colonies, two in North America and one in Kamchatka. It is clear, however, that the British wish for the Pacific colonies.
The French explode this turn in an all-out colonization of the western coast of Africa, and managed to repel German and British attempts, but losing one to Germany. They also are concentrating on South America.
Italy comes to life with its colonization of the East Coast of America. In response, their economy soars. Also, the empty Tunisia falls into Italian hands.
The Dutch seem to favor cold weather, as their only points of interest are Canada and the sub-arctic. Yet, these provinces come with a hefty income, putting Holland near the top most lucrative nation in the world.
The Ottomans remain a homeland power, possessing no colonies whatsoever, and not expanding much. It looks like they are going to have to rely on military conquest to gain their land (a guess, so dont go thinking Kennelly said this). An attempt to take Egypt already ended in a loss of 2 infantry regiments. Yet, the east coast of Africa looks ripe for the Ottomans.
Russia as well doesnt posses any colonies, but their rapid expansion into Asia secures their empire financially for the future. No one can tell what the huge offensive army being built in Europe is for.
Germany is trying to get into the power of colonizing, but has lost miserably in the struggle for Africa. Their European neighbors, the French, have taken most of the land and sent their ships back to sea. They are the smallest colonial power in the world, besides Russia and Ottoman Empire.

For future reference - you must have 2 infantry to claim-move-claim (this is using extra march), in the sense that you have to use one to claim the first provicne, then the next infantry to claim the next one.
Some people did not do this, so unfortunatly i had to skip them.
