Said Kerry:

I. WOULD. JUST. LIKE. TO. TAKE. THIS. OPPORTUNE. OPPORTUNITY. TO. ANNOUNCE. THAT. PURSUANT. AND. SUBSEQUENT. TO. A. GREAT. DEAL. OF. THOUGHT. ABOUT. HOW. I. CAN. BEST. SERVE. THIS. COUNTRY. IN. ADDITION. TO. THE. SERVICE. I. ALREADY. RENDERED. IN. VIETNAM. I. AM. PROUD. TO. REPORT. THAT. I. AM. NOT. IN. THE. RACE. STOP. NOW. BACK. TO. YOUR. ORDINARY. QUOTIDENNIAL. ACTIVITIES. AND/OR. isn't 08 when he would be up for election in the senate? if so taking the uphill battle of trying to get elected president again wouldn't really be worth the risk.

I find it funny that Senator Kerry not running for president is bigger news than most of the candidates who are! It's almost a shame; I'd be curious to see how far he'd make it in the primaries.

I imagine he will run unopposed for the Senate, there's really no risk of him losing his seat.

I guess the old Bush whooped him

How embarrassing to forever be known in history as the man who lost to George Bush.

Dont forget, Al Gore also lost to George Bush :p.

Yes, but at least he can claim he won the popular vote, and he ran against Bush before people knew as much about Bush as we know today.

If Gore ran against Bush today who do you think would win by a landslide?

Bush would win. I have no doubt about it at all.

Hi MB, I've missed you. No doubt you say? No doubt at all? You have a remarkable ability to deny the obvious even in the face of evidence to the contrary. Have you seen Bush's approval ratings? link.

Full disclosure - I voted for Bush both times, but would vote for Gore or Kerry now if the election were today. Bush is an ever-increasing disappointment.

Careful Sahkuhnder, MobBoss will strike you with more Bush supporting falicies like "He is a good leader dispite the unpopular voices".

Yeah, but Gore was the better candidate the first time he lost as well.

I don't think you're underestimating Bush, but I do think you're giving Gore too much credit . . .

I would expect nothing less. One admirable trait MB possesses is an unwavering viewpoint.

You have a problem habla da engrish? Yeah..I said no doubt. Even as some people think Bush has been bad, Gore would have been a bumbling disaster. When he lost the election back in 2000, he showed his character by first reneging on his concession phone call to Bush, and then taking the whole thing to court.

As for Bush's approval ratings, big deal...his approval ratings were low when he beat Kerrys butt in the last election too.

/shrug. Full disclosure. I voted for Bush both times and would vote for him again, knowing what I know about both Kerry and Gore.

I fully recognize you have no idea what makes a good leader. Time and history will be the judge...not you today. A good leader often makes unpopular choices....leading isnt about being popular CivG...but I didnt expect you to realize that.....

My dad > Your dad syndrome :)

Yeah, except my dad has already kicked your dads butt once already. Thats kind of hard to argue against.
