I did offer it tongue in cheek, but my point stands. Unless you really know the inner workings of the persons mind, how do you know that the outer shell actually equals the inner self?

Is it that much of a stretch to consider that if a person is lieing about one facet of their life that they may indeed be lieing about other parts?
