Jumpstyle is a new dance move in the Netherlands, and today is Queens Day there. Some cities in the Netherlands get together to do this dance now.

It is widely popular now in the Netherlands, and in parties during Queens Day, they do that dance now.

Learning how to do the dance is quite easy.

Thoughts?

Me myself, it looks interesting, but no matter how simple the dance is, I can't do them.

Do you think other countries will inherit this dance?

EDIT: Happy Queens Day or Gellukij Koninngens Dag to the people in the Netherlands. (NOTE: I am not sure if I spelled those things right)

Gellukij Koninngens Dag
Gelukkige Koninginnedag

I find the dance to be rather ridiculous, but I'm not into dancing at all.

Hey I invented this dance style over 20 years ago.

Youre also supposed to yell at the top of your lungs (and hopefully drown out the music of DJ dorky) and have your pecker caught in the zipper of your pants while doing this dance.

I am not into dancing as well. I've tried learning how to do this, and failed miserably, even though it's almost the most easy dance ever.

And I knew I spelled it wrong :p

To Jawz - That is interesting..

Don't mind the music, mind the dance move.

Anyways, of course us Western peeps won't like that dance. And if we do, we probably have Dutch blood in us (Like, you actually have relatives there). Or you just like weird things.

The music and the dance style should go to hell. Go to hell and die.

From the thread title I was half expecting this thread to be about skydiving lol. I'm not much of a clubber or dancer, but since I was here I watched the videos anyway. That dance reminds me of various cultures step dancing. But its not near as interesting to me. Perhaps it will evolve.

Irish Step Dancer

Evolution of dance ;)
