Hey Kalel, that map is beautiful. This is the first time I am downloading a map so I am going to try it out. I dont know how to, but I'll figure it out. question, do you have a program to create those maps or is it with Civ.?

I did that just using the editor. There is a program that will help, but unfortunately for me, I didn't find it til after I was well into the project.

I think you are right. ops: Can't believe nobody has said anything about it before this. I am hoping to find some time soon to finally put resources on the new version and I will be sure to remember to place fish, et al on that one.

What version of the map? I played 1.6 and there were plenty of fish.

with regards to the tundra square in the northern south island of new zealand, there is no tundra there! is there another way you could include oil, such as grassland or forest?

I didn't change any of the rules with this map, so the only other option was to put a desert there. I tried that and it made it look rather ugly so I went with tundra.
