Keldath addons

dear civfriends..there is now a bug report tickering on the site...just finished it this morning..the site itself will change some ...but at least i got it to run the basics LOL

anyway...if you find bugs, i'd like you to use this interface which opens when you click on the bug report..
there is a login(written on the page)
username bug
password report

you can ticker your issues there, includes jpg upload or whatever might be necesssery for bug reports...including dump files :)

this way things are handled more properly and we can switch bug reports as closed(once fixed) so everyone can see what has been fixed already for any new release...i hope people dont post the same bugs over and over again ....as well as the fact that Kel and I know exactly what either on of us has fixed already..like now i fixed here on my end alot of TXT messages...
but I have no clue if Keldath fixed them also on his end...I hope this misunderstanding will be history once we use the bug ticker system :)

NOTE: if you find any of the other mod-makers should also use some kind of system...you are free to tell them about this SQL database i made online...It's easy to include this tickering system for other modpacks too...you just have to select the catergory and it's handled properly to the right modmaker..I'm not sure if you as civfanatics users like such a system...but if you do, feel free to invite other mod makers as well..

download managers are supported by the website! I tested the DL with my own DL manager and got 760kByte/Second as download rate..since i have a 6MBit internet connection i assume this is my max internet bandwidth...so you should be able to get high download rates yourself too(at least 6MBit)...since the DL are non-direct but by PHP, you should not use the SAVE option with your DL manager but the OPEN instead!!! it'll save automatically! :)

The problem with the save option is that you save the PHP script! :)

Normally i wouldnt give support on how to use programs, like download managers, but since i needed some time to figure this out myself, i wanna spare you the problems of using a Download manager with a PHP scripted-link hehehe

just to know, this tactic of "OPEN" instead of "SAVE" works with all Scripted-link supported websites!(i.e. filefront) unless they have a program that checks for known DL managers to disable it of course.

I get the download links on that page but I thought Amra+5UU+Dale was for Warlords?

And I LOVE the bug report idea...but of course I hope to never need it ;)
 
In 4 - 5 hours I'm getyting my new AMD64 3000+ and new graphics card - I hope the first think I will be able to do will be testing the new mod :D

Then I'll be counting minutes to get my new hardware and all night I'll play the mod ! :D

Hello gents- I know this has been brought up before- actually right at the release of the game, but now that new gov's and civics have been added with mods, the great wonder 'The Pyramids' have become even more powerful.

I have found that the games I play on Noble- whoever gets the great pyramids seems to dominate- I built them my last two times- immediately switched to Seperate Powers' for gov and outgrew and out produced everyone.

I still think the Pyramids should give whoever built them some good stuff- but choosing any gov should be the last thing you get. :P

perhaps +20% great person growth/ 6 culture/ +20%science in the city
(or free specialist) and one more thing but I cant think of it right now- free fast worker due to the skills learned on building it? or free great person?

Nah perhaps free great engineer+ 2 fast workers? Or something like it..
 
peeps, keldath is still uploading his modfile! 5UU AMRA DALE...dont click on the link to DL..you get an error or something else not working LOL

all other links are working now btw, including buttons etc etc.,.

for such things like:"link not working" well, post a bug! :)
but if i can believe keldath, it'll only be less then an hour to finish the upload :) i enabled the link already because im going to cycle and wont be able to publish the link during cycling LOL...but please wait for keldath to report the file is online! :)
 
After a few games with SeperatE Powers I had an impression that Seperate Powers is to strong Civic. But in fact it's disovered very late in the game, so the power of it is not the point...

I Agree The Pyramids should give a very srong bonuses, but no access to Goverment Civics :)
 
Well the Pyramids aren't an 'I WIN BUTTON' as I have ran out front without them. But I agree the Pyramids might be too powerful...keldath could always have it reveal a different civic line instead of Government too.

yeah and please people, please use the bug report option of the page!! it's easier for us to keep track of fixes and other.
and there is also a SELECTION of which modpack you are referring to for bugs...the warlords or the vanilla mod...please select the right one! :)
 
Dear civfanatics friends..i fixed the air-stats screen..but what is this partisan bug keldath tells me about? he is offline now with his friends in town...and im busy fixing python now anyway..but if i dont know what is the error..i cannot fix it, right? :)

ok going to sleep..will wait for someone to tell me about the error :) cause no error on my comp :)

I have a slow connection and it took me hours to download the file, and when i ran it, the self installer seemed to be in a character set my system couldn't handle? I am assuming russian or similar? I thought it might have installed anyway but i got an error which contained "CRC" so i assume it's a CRC error (not being able to read it makes it harder!)

Wah! Is anyone else gettign this? It's coming up as 327,895,912 bytes in size which seems about right. I guess I should try again but oh, the pain, the pain!
 
@seady, since keldath is in isreal and mr genie is in germany, then the language is either hebrew or geman. i think its hebrew. i had same confusion so i guessed on the install and guessed right. play with it to install it, good luck. if i can help pm me
 
hey guys, sorry for the hebrew installation - that was a mistake - ill release anew file in the coming days.

rockinroger, i tryed to load the game that you supplied - but the game wouldnt load currectley to me, so it must be installation error.

if you wish, send me you python file folder and ill be anble to compare it with mine so far 63 people dl the mod - and you are the only person to report a problem,
