Kingdom Come: Deception (Game Thread)

Even if there is a roleblocker, I dont think GR was really roleblocked, he did drop the letter (at least he said that). That is the end of GR's night action, so it was complete and MJ should've received the letter. Only other possibility is if someone stole it, which is unlikely IMO

Possibly, I'm just guessing based on the information we have. Strongman fits, ninja fits as well to counter your abilities.

With my limited familiarity with roles I saw Visor as a strongman kill, but I had never heard of a poisoner.

Which brings to mind a question I had about @JohannaK...the leap to "poisoner." I take it that is some official "standard mafia role" term, and when I went back and looked at Visor's grisly death I could see it clearly enough, but when I read it the first time I saw him as choked and stabbed, not poisoned. If people who are more experienced with the lingo all read that and saw "oh a poisoner" I can write myself off as a n00b and that's fine, but did that happen?

A poisoner doesn't kill instantly, at least never one I've seen, so I don't think that's the role. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, so my guess is it's just a flavor thing.

And again, to be a resource on the intricacies of roles is perhaps the one value I see in a v/Argon...and nada.

And despite Gamez best effort we are chasing our tails AGAIN with this letter business. How did THAT happen?

Letter stealer just seems like such a crappy role to have. Also I said poisoner because of the poison found on the body. Could just be strong man flavor

Flavor thing that was introduced by Jo?

I'm not acting like I know your role. NO ONE knows your role. No one has ever had any way to know your role other than hanging you to see how you flip. That's the problem.

This post is the immediate problem though. Throwing confusion about "well a letter writer isn't really a counter to a doctor" when we have already established that the maf has a power to counter the doctor. Argon, YOU are the person I would count on to have put together absolutely the most detailed examination of roles, potential roles, and how roles would interact. So how did that just slip through the cracks there?

Having received a letter myself...I just "found it in the morning." I was home, myself, but I doubt that I had to be.

That just leads back to one of them is not being honest, at least that's my take on it anyways.

The toxins were found on the second body. Visor had the deep stab wound and "bulging eyes and blackened tongue" which I read as strangled, but Jo read, apparently correctly, as poisoned.

Because MJ mysteriously did not receive his letter, I guess. Some things to consider about it:

(i) someone stole it (lame role but who knows)
(ii) GR did not send the letter (weird way to frame MJ? Hardly)
(iii) MJ got it and is willing to die rather than reveal it's content lol

I guess MJ could have lied about being able to read after reacting to Tims claim he could read, which would be hilarious.

I went to bed assuming that I would have to fight for my life to not get lynched. What made you think the mafia would want to spend an NK on me?

To be fair, I have no idea who I would have protected in your shoes.

Why would you be up? There are more sketchy people than you, why would this ever happen?

I would have tried to save Dolbster, but I thought they'd keep him around for WIFOM reasons. So I just decided between you and pzelda

I hammered Raskol, and I have a bad reputation, and unlike damn near everyone else I haven't made a "you can't lynch me" claim.

The mafiascum definition of Poisoner is the victim dies the next night. I assumed he meant doctor proof, with the "someone made sure" phrase. I am not sure what he said makes sense.
