That went well.

First mission and the debut of Behemoth and our crew of parahumans. Nearly a hundred parahumans gathered to fight the beast and only one in three returned. Not even the famed Triumvirate could drive back Behemoth.

Behemoth was confirmed to be targeting the workshop of a tinker named Zero who worked on building kinetic weapons. Whatever was housed there seemed to have activated and created a circular crater two miles in diameter, completely obliterating everything within. Still, even with Behemoth at the center, it was not enough to kill him as he was last seen tunneling back into the earth.

Among the casualties included Angel, who fought against Behemoth solo, Hellfire, who died in a suicidal strafing run against him, and Butcher, who stayed to the very end trying to slow Behemoth down as he dug to the workshop.

The Protectorate is in a frenzy trying to track down where Behemoth went and also trying to provide aid to the city of LA which was brought to its knees by the attack.

Another thing players will want to note is that you have lost your first level. This would put you down at level 9 and would cause one of your upgraded feats to downgrade into a level 1 feat. I will leave which feat you want to downgrade up to you.

-Trigger event: When his wife Shae was killed as a result of a shady deal gone wrong, Marcus abandoned his old life as an assassin and became a mercenary with a death wish, instead hunting those responsible for her death and aiding the American government with their shady business.

Meant to have this up earlier but better late than never right?

Second mission was an RP mission. Everyone has joined up into a small taskforce dedicated to dealing with S-class threats and their aftermath, so the party has finally formed. Sam returned as Marcus and had little issues with joining the group while Arrow was quickly attacked by Whisper. After that the team decided it would be a great idea to split the party between team social (Desperado, Lionheart, and Digital) and team asocial (Synapse, Whisper, Nymph, and the NPCs).

Team social went out and found a little blonde girl standing next to the body of a man who just killed himself. She claimed to be his niece and seemed very shocked, Desperado then thought it would be a fantastic idea for the big scary man to give the girl a hug. The sound of another scream nearby gave everyone the inspired idea to further split the party as Desperado went out alone to investigate while Digital and Lionheart looked around for a way to cover up the corpse. The second they took their eyes of the girl she vanished and soon after Lionheart fell unconscious. Marcus meanwhile found half a corpse and a wall painted with blood, returning to his comrades he too quickly fell unconscious.

Team asocial proceeded to glare at each other for most of the RP and talk in short sentences when required to. After saving some civilians trapped under a rock Whisper lead the team to reunite with the others. Now the team is back together and tasked with hunting down the serial killer who is taking advantage of the chaos in LA.

Next mission will be on a Saturday at the same time.
