Dabomb18359 said:Funny. After having and playing the game nearly two weeks now, I finally beat a Map of Europe. As Ireland, I won with 103 provinces. In the beginning I got most of them from spies becoming enemy kings. I even got all of my ally England!
Dabomb18359 said:Well you know how spies work, so I'm assuming that you have the real game. Well, you probably know how it's not too uncommon to have some gay king who is married but never has a prince. In this case, the most experienced of your knights becomes king. Most of the time it's the enemy marshal with the most skill or the enemy spy which is usually skilled. So if you get your spy to infiltrate an opponent's court and become their spy or marshal, he might become king. You can tell by going to the rumours section. Read through and there are two things it can say to give you a chance of that. One is, "King of (insert name here) is getting old. There is actually a chance that our spy may become king." Another is, "King of (insert name here) is getting old and has no heirs. [Something to the effect of the king may be in trouble]" That may not be the exact wording but you get the picture. If you hear both of those messages the chances are greatest.

It probably wouldn't affect the outcome of the game though, because my king 99% of the time has 3 girls before he ever has 1 boy. That's why when I had two princes without any princess I was jumping out of my seat happy! The king usually either never has princes (and many princesses) or like 3 princesses and a prince or two once he's venerable, so they're useless...
