Known virtues and tooltip madness.

I didn't catch any virtue names because the tooltips were so weak/quickly gone,m but I caught some effects. I'll update the OP after next weeks twitch stream (or tomorow if I feel like it) with the rearranged might tree.

Synergy for 15 might virtues

Prosperity

1. Frugality
Cities retain 10%food after growth

Synergy for 10 Prosperity virtues
+1 health in every city

Industry

1. ???
+ 10% production toards buildings

2. ???
+1 energy for every basic resource (probably copper and silica and such)

That's pretty much all I got.

The bonus for "Investment" (Industry #6) has been increased. It is now "Earn 1% of stockpiled energy every turn up to 100 energy (instead of 50 energy)".

Good catch !
Thats potentially extremely useful for people who have the discipline to stockpile 10.000 energy

I'm thinking the Industry virtue tree will have great synergy with the Polystralia faction since it has an econ bonus. A Polystralia that has all the virtues in the industry tree will be an economic giant.

Like Knowledge and FrancoIberia (more Culture +more Research)+UA turning Culture into Techs->More Techs+More Techs

Hope they boost some of those % up (closer to +25% for buildings or +100% for tile improvements)

They seem a bit minor, yes but I think we will get virtues faster than policies and cities don't raise the cost anymore too. So that needs to be balanced. Also with a tech web chances are higher to get world wonders as the other players' tech level is more spread out. That could lead to some insane stacking boni.

Would that +1 health in every city indicate that there is local health as well as global health?

Wouldn't be surprised health is just the same as Civ5 happiness system.

Well when capital pop increased in the livestream playthrough, global health did not change.

So either
City pop does not add to health
Or
They have a system similar to civV (global and local) and the 'palace' starts off with some local health.

I am not sure sorry, maybe somebody can confirm or deny it. :) I thought it was a thing though.

I think I might have started that rumor with a coment on the twitch stream, but I was wrong. It just looked like it because I watched it first on a lower resolution.
Sorry.

It's starting now. They have a save game after turn 90.

Just bumping this thread. OP has been updated with new virtues from the IGN gamescom video. There were some very faint ones I didn't catch, so if anybody finds something that's not on my list...

I am really liking the Industry tree. Very nice to see Rome's old UA up there.

Industry 9.
+6 energy/tier from trade routes with stations

Industry 10
+?25?% yield from trade routes with your own cities

Thanks. I actually got number 9 in m disorganised notes but forgot it.
