Pre-turn
I switched Novgorod to work forest in order to :whip: the library sooner.
I also settled the GS, and switched to work horses for more archers. (Rather later I am looking back and wondering why I settled the GS in Moscow. I think that Moscow looks like a production city, and it would make more sense to have settled him in a commerce city.)
I also notice a number of signs that say "s" Sadly, I have no idea what these mean.

Feudalism looks prohibitively far off: 45 turns. I inadvertently let Churchill spend a turn on IW, which may not be a problem, as we didn't really reach consensus of what we should be working on. Based on our general sentiments, I think it makes sense to start on the long slog towards feudalism. I don't feel strongly about it, though. Our economy isn't great, which makes me want Currency. Also, I would like to expand north, now that we have blocked off the territory, and city maintenance will start to be a problem. Too many things to grab.

So, I will half-heartedly start towards Feudalism, on the grounds that we can switch in something else.

Stopping here, as the Napoleon/Shaka stack appears.
We have a few archers moving in that general direction, but I am unclear how much we can aid Nottingham.
