Kyp's GMR Game (open sign ups)

After loading the save file, I encountered the same bug on two different computers.
"Next turn" button highlights the following info:
"The game waits for other players to finish their turns (Banman39)". Similar to the encountered info while playing simulturn multiplayer.
I am not able to select any of my units or cities, I can just hover over the map.

Maybe Banman has not properly finished his last turn.
I ask the turn to be reverted to Banman.

Two peace-loving powerhouses, Egypt and Songhai, have decided to sign Defensive Pact in order to oppose potential invaders together.
Askia hopes that this agreement can forestall future conflicts on our continent.

Ramses welcomes the African Mutual Defense Pact! May the Songhai and Egyptian peoples prosper under the increased security it will provide! We would be well pleased if our two peoples can enjoy the fruits of everlasting peace and cooperation in this war-torn world.

Ps, RStark, where are you from? I think this is our first game together, whereas a lot of us here play together pretty regularly (or used to).

I live in New Zealand, but grew up and lived most of my life in Hawaii. Yes, very lucky. :)

Hey i live in Africa too :D

Heh, nice try, Persians! You've got your own subcontinent over there.

Your long wandering pike is welcome to settle in Egypt, to rest his tired and weary bones, then marry a pretty Egyptian courtesan, makes lots of babies, and turn to a life of peaceful study.

A massive Russian army has appeared, with cannons! However they are taking early losses from our skies of arrows.

A single turn will be enough(still a least 10 years i guess for each turn :p)

I live in Kazakhstan, Central Asia :)

And again Civ shows us that its one of the best ways to bring people from all the world together. I've never met someone from that area, whatever game I've played. Closest is UAE and India. Now I can check Kazakhstan off the list.

I was going to say the same thing, but then, I think I might've met someone from Kazakhstan at work. In any case, good to 'meet' you. :)

Derp, Russia went straight military on me this game it looks like.

 If the Russians have any other options, we wanted to be wonder whore or early explore as well, but we need to fight for every inch of land and resources to stay in this game.

Interesting fight between a more modern army and ancient archers.

Apparently Japan has received foreign financial assistance. Their treasury was about to go bankrupt a turn ago. We wonder if that foreign big pocket could come out of the shadow politics.

whose interest would be best served in keeping you guys in conflict?

Russian intelligence suspects the Egyptians, who have been muddling the water with us by multiple occasions in different dimensions :p They seemed to have had some cash reserved several turns ago but suddenly disappeared. Their alliance with Songhai also suggests both viewed Russia a potential threat. However we could be totally wrong and pissed off the Egyptians by this paranoid accusation.
