What the heck is with l337 sp33k? It's harder to type than normal english, it looks stupid, and is hard to understand. WHY DO PEOPLE USE THIS WHYWHYWHYYYYYY

Abbreviations are one thing, they have obvious reasons, but this takes longer to type!!! There are no points in favor of its usage! If any of you know why this abomination of a language is in use, please tell me.

It's like encryption...that has all the downsides of being hard to write and perhaps conveying errors but none of the upsides of secrecy! YAY!!!
Hackers are supposed to be intelligent people...or some of them anyway...so why would they use this typing method that slows them down? the whole point of internet typing is quickness! why add more letters?

lol, it becomes second nature. Right. It is still stupid, not very kool.

Oh, BTW, ppl used to hate words such as kool because it was considered an 'elite' word. I don't know how it gots started but I am sure to bet it was from a 13 yr old boy, or a man with a 13 yr old mentality.
