Last online?

When you PM someone (with a read notification thingie), and you go to your PM tracking folder, below the user's name that you PMed is either "online now" or "last online (date and time)." Is there any other way you can see when someone was last online? Sometimes this is a pretty useful feature. It'd be especially useful before PMing someone, so that you know you aren't PMing a guy who hasn't been on the site for months. Yes, you can tell when someone last posted, but sometimes people are lurkers, and don't post for a while even though they've been online.

Just wondering.

It was there in the profile before, saying "last online", if I remember right. But it got removed.

Hmm, I don't remember that.... Can you remember when it got removed?

It doesn't say last online. What it does say is last posted, which is still there (but may not be after we upgrade to vB 3.0).

Along with viewing when someone was last online, I'd also like to be able to see the list of users who have viewed a certain topic, just like who posted in a certain topic. (For those who don't know, click the number of replies beside the thread to get the list.) And no, I won't tell you why....

Really, I think it would be pretty useful. Just a little idea of mine; don't want to sound demanding or anything.

I know, you wanna PM people who read your posts but don't reply to them! What's next, banning them? j/k.

Good idea!

Edit: And the reason I think a list of the users that have viewed a thread might be slightly useful is if you make a thread that you think a certain user might enjoy, you can see if he/she has seen it. Or if you make a suggestion in the Conquests forum, and want to see if Jeff_ATARI has seen it, or if you ask a question in the Site Feedback forum and want to see if Thunderfall has seen it, or if you make a pop-up complaint and want to see if TeleFragged has seen it, etc.
