Latest DLC

I think the fact that we know that you guys are continuing to work on the game is what we desire to hear the most. Thanks for keeping us updated.

I think the only accurate date I can say right now is "When it's done."

We're working on it now. I'll let you know when I have more solid dates.

Guess it´s my fault not checking if it was working for mac, but just wanna say that it sucks big time paying 5,99e for something that doesn´t work.

Should at least be some warning.

Guess you missed the Windows logo (and lack of Apple one) on Steam :)

Fear not, though, you'll get the Mac version automatically when it's released. You won't need to pay again.

What are all the DLCs available for Mac? Is there a quick list?

As far as I know, I have all the DLC options that are currently available for the Mac version. They are:

Babylon
Mongols
Spain & Inca
Polynesia

Those, plus the map-only DLC's (that came with PC "special edition").

We won't get anything official that isn't already announced for the Windows version - and Firaxis haven't released a Vikings DLC.

Have you looked for a Viking mod in the Creation & Customization forum? There's one at least, but it's only available in the Mod Browser, which doesn't work on the Mac. If you ask nicely, perhaps the creator will zip up the files so that you can install it manually.

I believe he's referring to the Denmark Civ, which is basically Vikings, with the UA of Viking Fury and a UU of Berserkers.

But in any case, no Denmark yet. We've got it in test.

Thanks for the update. Looking forward to spending another 8 bucks :)

I just booted up in Windows and ran Civ V. The DLC that I ordered on the Mac side is not on the PC side. It says I have to buy it. Shouldn't I automatically have access to it since I paid for it?

Isabella is in the game.... but it still shows that I can buy it as an upgrade DLC on Steam. So something isn't communicating.

Steam doesn't seem to care whether you've already bought something. They'll cheerfully sell it to you again, as often as you want to give them money, as far as I can tell. I suspect you could buy Civ5 again if you wanted to.

That's there in case you want to gift it someone else.. but they'll probably let the transaction go through if you don't pick a gift recipient.

i'm considering buying DLC (spain, inca, and polynesia) on steam for Civ V on mac...but it only shows system requirements for PC and I'm afraid that it won't work if I DL it...so i'm hesitant to spend that money. Anyone know what the deal is?

The DLC doesn't have any additional system requirements other than the base game. If the game runs on your Mac, so will the extra content.
