I'm returning to Fall from Heaven after a bit of a break. The progress on this mod is nothing short of stunning! However, I don't have Beyond the Sword, and I'm unlikely to get it in the near future. Does anyone know the latest version of FfH2 that does not require BtS?

Yes you are correct. Version 0.23c was the last version before BTS, which began with version 0.25. I don't recall a version 0.24 nor did I see any threads for it when scanning older threads for old 0.23 info.

There is no .24, .25 wasn't a massive change, so didn't deserve to up to.30 classification, but it wasn't a linear advance from .23, so shouldn't be sequential

There most certainly was a .24; it was the original BtS Beta conversion of Fire. I think it actually had more versions than any other version, making it to about patch w (there was at least one fairly major patch almost every day). It was always pretty buggy, but Kael decided he would rather start clean in case people's versions had begun to diverge (and a patch can't deleate old, useless info that was making reading theough the code more complicated). Also, the 3.13 BtS patch was scheduled to come out any day and .24 wasn't compatible with it; the big change in .25 was that it was compatible with (and needs) the BtS patch.
