I my version is an "downgraded" Civ2 TOT.

There is still hope then. I have TOT. Please tell me how to downgrade it and I'll do another version for it. It probably will take a couple of weeks but I think it's doable.

I played the - ZWK World War 2 game against myself. And the latest version worked for me

Thanks for the good news. I'll be happy for a couple of days until somebody tells me that it doesn't work for him.

As I mentioned I only did a quick fix -- changed memory addresses without touching the codes. This means if this version works for you, then the original version 2 should work for genuine MPE.

The new version works for me too. I had an upgraded version of classic so it probably have had to do with Cedric's patch.

Also, I tried the no limits exe file and the new version worked with that too on my computer.

Right, i'll get down to it. I load up MGE, go through the correct menus, load up a savegame, play my turn etc. etc. Then, when I have one unit left active and I am ready to press Ctrl-N, I load up Lazyciv version 2. But it says that Civ is not running and doesn't do anything!

For the record, my system spec's:

Windows 98 SE
Civ MGE UK edition patched to V1.3
PIII 500
96MB RAM

Can anyone please help me? I thought dastardly AI production changing was gone fo ever!

Answered your question in Apolyton forum. Unless somebody has UK version and can find the memory addresses, there is nothing I can do. Or we can try our luck to assume that the memory addresses would be the same. If this is true then I only need the title bar name of the UK version.
