-3 Rejinaldo Bolívar de Alencar-Araripe (Brasilia) - His UA is very lack luster. A 10% increase for units will maybe save you a few hit points, perhaps save you a unit or two from nearly dying, but economy, technology or infrastructure civs fare better overall.

+1 Élodie (Franco-Iberia) - AI plays this race well most of the time and the 2-3 free techs you can get are a great boost to get you to the goals you have set out.

Well I gave my reasons before, and don't feel like retyping them all the time.

Only Civ I don't like was African Union. I like PAC a bit more than Polystralia. I'm not too bothered about the others, but might want to downvote KP soon because they always expand too much, forward settle me, and DOW me if I put one city anywhere near them.

And yea the AI plays Elodie well in my games too, much better than the rest.

IIRC elimination threads had a theme, like best to play as, pain to deal against, simply annoying etc., but not all over the place. I mean, what's the point, when everyone votes on different grounds?

This one's just a popularity contest. Or a least unpopular contest I guess. I guess it shows what factors cause people to like or dislike leaders. Later polls can look at specific factors.

As an elimination thread vet, the votes are mostly for kicks and giggles, you don't really need a reason for an upvote/downvote. Of course, you can make your decisions based off of game mechanics and similar decisions, but 99% of the upvotes and (especially) downvotes are for whatever you want. Example- I downvoted Bra7-1l, upvoted 'stralia. It's just for fun, makes it better if everyone tries for that instead of setting guidelines.

I already explained twice that this elimination thread is about your personal preference and/or experiences you made with each leader/sponsor. If this means you downvote a leader because you simply don't like his/her appearance then so be it.

Well, the thing is, this thread is not about ranking the overpoweredness of sponsors. Instead everyone can vote for various reasons. I, for example, vote because of sympathies with certain sponsors/characters...
Speaking of sympathies or better antipathies: HUTAMA. I hate him so much. In my current game he DOW'd again because he settles to close to me and then whines, that I would claim his lands. Or he whines about me removing miasma inside MY territory. Not to forget that I excavated ruins in MY territory. Jeesh. Anyway, my vote:

So what you're saying is that this vote is 100% completely useless because there are no criteria. One person May randomly down vote a sponsor because they hate to them for no particular reason while another person may vote for a sponsor because they think they look cool.

Game design and game mechanics are completely out the window and it is full on derp mode. Got it.
