Leaderhead Database and Request thread

You should have M. having the white robe, red thing, and blue crown. From there on, let your imagination run wild.

That would be Ahuitzotl.

I'm having a hard time finding any leaders for the Zapotec outside of Spanish Conquest era. Strange for a civilization with a writing system, surrounded by other civilizations like the Aztec that did keep records for rulers.

Nevertheless, I found a ruler, and his son. Cosijoeza was ruler during the war of Aztec Aggression. He was apparently a good war leader. He told his people to stay away from any conflicts with the Spanish.

His son, Cosijopii I, converted into christanity and gave up the state to the Spanish, rather than fighting a suicidal war against them.

You should use Sury for the face, I'd use Mangas Coloradas' hair and then throw on Huayna's crown, texture it to look jade, throw on Monty's ear-rings, Pacal's bling, maybe a couple of feathers and then use Tachnecobrus/Logan's body, including that wrap he has on, retexture that to white (although I'd probably throw some "Aztec designs" on it just to make it look better and voila. Whatever Aztec LH you want to call it, and it would look original.

I'm not making it though. ;)

Civ 4 Colonization Leaderheads now included in the database after Generic Leaderheads.

I will not be keeping good track of Civ Col modding forum, so If a new one comes up, please tell me so I can update the database.

So anyone up for making a Cato (The Younger) LH? He's one of my favorite Romans ever and it'd be nice to have one of the Republican leaders instead of all the Imperial ones.

Here's a reference picture(For the face mainly): Link
I'm not quite sure what to use as a base there, maybe Lincoln or Brennus?

And a reference pic for the clothes he should be wearing (Terrible pic, but it gets the point across I think): Link
Perhaps Darius' Robes? They'd be able to do the white toga with the sash over it pretty well I think.

And of course he needs his beard and curly brown hair. As for the background, I guess the Roman leaders all have suitable backgrounds, or Bismark I suppose.
Justinian would be a good base for animation too I think.

You know, theoretically, you could have Benito Juarez lead the Zapotecs... he was Zapotec himself. He could also be useful as a Mexican leader.

Hey first off I wanted to thank all you guys for taking the time to make these I've downloaded a bunch and they're all really cool.

Just a question since most if not all them are just the graphics with no XML.

Is there a list somewhere of recommended traits/favorite civics/religons to make them somewhat historically accurate?

Go here:http://forums.civfanatics.com/misc.php?do=showattachments&t=298926. Look for a file called "finished". I'm sure you'll find stuff you need there.

A lot of mods use them, so you can DL them and check. DLing CivGold is useful (even if they didn't use the actual LH you wanted) because they already have XML finished. If you go to my mod's thread on the first post I have a list of all the new leaders with their traits if you want to take a quick look at that. My mod is down because it was for 3.17 though, so I'm in the process of making a new one for 3.19.

I just re-read my post and it wasn't very clear. CivGold has WAY more leaders than my mod does, they have the XML in it though, so you can download that. In the first page of my mod's thread I have my own trait combos that you can use as a reference too if you don't want to DL CivGold (it will probably take a while, but its worth DLing).

I went and got Civ Gold, everyone was in there

I noticed though the Civilopedia entry for Xerxes in it was wrong, it said he lived 1895 to like 1972instead of 519 to 465 BC

Again thanks guys, I look forward to whatever you make in the future

I still advise you to check the file I mentioned above- it has personalities for many custom LHs. It was made by dF for The Capo's mod.
