I am surprised that the narration from none other than Leonard Nimoy hasn't been discussed! Let's hope for narration from Bill Shatner in Civ 5, including a stirring rendition of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" to grace the win screen.

Why does Nimoy sing "The ballad of Bilbo Baggins" on the victory screen of civ4?

If you haven't heard it all I can say is it's quite unique.

Actually I think the next best voice of Star Trek is without a doubt Patrick Stewart (J-L Picard)

I kind of like the voice overs...

Especially since they continue the quote even if you've closed the screen it's one. So you don't have him getting 1/2 way though something and you get clipped off.
