Message from George III, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, etc. and Elector of Hannover.

His Majesty is pleased to announce the capture of the city of Ovideo in northern Spain. This capture has been hailed as a major breakthrough in the region, and, along with additional pressure from Spain, should drive the French back across the Pyrenee's. Currently there are no negotiations for the return of the cities to Spain.

The attack started with heavy bombardment on the morning of 7th July 1805 which continued for several days. Once this was over, the city was stormed by several units of Household Cavalry, and Lifeguards. There were casualties on both sides.

Five French Voltgier units were destroyed or surrendered (three to cavalry, and two to lifeguards) in the conflict to take the city. Unfortunately a unit of Household Cavalry was taken out of action.

On the water, two privateer's off the coast of Gibralter were sunk. His Majesty would like to remind all nations that Privateers, warships not flying under a national flag, will not be tolerated in British waters.

Russian Encirclement Routed

Outskirts of Polatsk

Fieldmarshal Fritz von Salzburg und Kiev using russian labor gangs constructed Fort Kessal. This fort kept open the supplyline to Polatsk. From here Fieldmarshals Fritz & Andreas von O'Reilly flanked the Russian lines delivering heavy losses. What is left of the Russian Guards are heading toward Moscow. Right into the jaws of the "twin sisters".

Scouts reported that Prussian forces allowed 2 Russian Guards to escape.

With tension growing, Austria & The Ottoman Empire strenghtened their Alliance by signning a MPP.

Message from William Pitt (the Younger), Prime Minister of Great Britain and all her territories.

There has been fearce fighting in Northern Italy near Milan. Two units of Imperial Guard, two units of Voltgieurs, and one unit of Imperial Cavalry were destroyed by British Lifeguards and Household Cavalry, after heavy bombardment from our Grand Batteries. On our side, we unfortunately did not escape unscathed. We lost a unit of Lifeguards, and a unit of Redcoats. On top of that, several other units, while still operational, have suffered significant losses in the battle.

Around the newly aquired town of Oviedo, a unit of French Cavalry, and a unit of French Imperial Guard were destroyed without loss, again, after heavy bombardment.

It is hoped that we can still capture Milan before winter, and consolidate our position in Iberia.

Austrian War Report.

Pskov Falls 15th October, 1805 AD

Fieldmarshal Andreas von O'Reilly Captures City!

Following the attack on the Kremlin of Pskov by Fieldmarshal Fritz, Fieldmarshal Andreas von O'Reilly routed the remaining Russian guards and captured Pskov. Heavy losses were taken by the Fieldmarshal's army. Which will winter in Pskov.

Northwest of Tula
A massive force of Russian Guards moved from Moscow into the gold mining region northwest of Tula. The 5th Zagreb Hussars were forced to retreat and a russian labor group was captured. Fieldmarshal Konrad Valentin awaits the Russian Guards at Tula.

Vienna
The government received a report that Campaign Hospital trains have reached all major units in the Austrian Empire. This will allow for treatment of wounded units while in the field.

WAR! Prussia's guns speak as Diplomatic talks fail
Talks with France were finally abandoned and other means employed to press Prussia's claim to the Jutland penisular. It was revealed that the Prussian government had recieved no answer to it's final attempt to find an amicable solution to the fate of Denmark. The patience of Prussia is not inexhaustable and her armed forces would bring as much force to bear as possible to bring France back to the negotiating table. Prussian batteries have been in action against entrenched Imperial guard and other forces south of Vejle.

Rule Britannia! Milan Regained!

Great news comes from the Italian Peninsula today. On the 17th November, after another devastating attack on the already battered and weakened French force, Milan has been recaptured by our brave Guards.

It has been a tough five years for the residents of Milan. They have had to ensure daily propaganda at best, and outright oppression at other times. They are now free to ditch the frog's legs, and get the spagetti out without fear of retribution.

Two units of voltgiers were destroyed, as well as a unit of French Imperial Guard. Another unit outside the city were also heavily damaged by British guns.

Further developments have taken place in the north. British troops have landed in Sweden to support in the people, and provide for their safety given the recent riots and massacres that are being reported from Sweden. The Swedish government appear unhappy at these events, but the British are supporting the people.

French forces routed at the Battle of Vejle (February 3rd 1806)

Prussian troops effectively destroyed the French operational forces south of Vejle. After a sustained bombardment by no less that 8 grand batteries brave Prussian cuirassiers made short work of the French forces consisting of a regiment of imperial guard, 2 of Voltgieurs and some Danish conscripts forced to fight alongside their French oppressors. Several cuirassiers regiments distinguished themselves in this action. Advance elements of our victorious forces have reached the outskirts of the city of Vejle.

The Kaiser fears for the safety of the Danish population as French troops have been quick to take vengeance on the local population when the fortunes of war turn against them. The people of Denmark may soon find an end in terror rather than face an endless terror under Napoleon.

Elsewhere special operations under the guidance of General von Scharnhorst has resulted in a swath of destruction as his troops march to the sea.

Prussia hopes that France will come to it’s senses over it’s position in Denmark and reach a ‘political’ solution before more French and Danish lives are lost.

War with the Sweden Government!

It is with great pleasure that the King can announce war with the Swedish government. The British have intervened to protect the Swedish people from their own tyranical government, who contiuned to pose a threat to the region.

The first blow has already been struck, and the city of Kristianstad has already fallen to British troops.

We did take losses during the battle, but losses were minor.

1st Battle of Staraya Russ 13th-17th January, 1806 AD

Fieldmarshal Fritz von Salzburg und Kiev defeated!!
Forced to Retreat with Personal Guard.

Without grand battery support a Austrian attack on the Russian city of Staraya Russ was thrown back with heavy losses to Fieldmarshal Fritz's Hussar Army. Fieldmarshal Andreas von O'Reilly was forced to cover the Fieldmarshals retreat to Pskov.

After a heavy Austrian artillary bombardment, Fieldmarshal Konrad Valentin von Kaim along with 4 independent Hussar units destoried the Russia Guards. The Russian response was to rush troops from the Pskov Front.
