List of Needed Things

Basically, there is a lot to be done to get this RPG on it's feet, so, this thread will be used to make lists of things that need to be done. (i.e. stickies, game concepts, rule amendments.) When a task is completed, please edit your post and put a line through the task, like this

This is not a discussion thread. <-- I believe I've broken my own rule wuite a few times, so if you do disagree with something someone posts, say so, just don't let this thread run off on discussion. Best thing is, if it gets more than 2 posts per person (on an argument) bring it over to the rebel pub and argue.

First on the list, clean up the forum a wee-bit. Too bad none of us are moderators, hopefully Chieftess will be a bit generous.

Secondly, the 'Organized RPG Thread, now with new features" thread, should be unstickied, or at the top of the first post there should be in red "These are not the current or officials rules. To find the official rules please visit the RPG Ruleset Thread"

Third thing we need to get done is push a little for Thunderfall to get our announcement on the front page.

Also, we need to clean up the business part of the banking rules a little, some of the terms differ and my confuse the reader.

Actually chieftess, this thread is more of a, how were going to get the game centralized thread, rather than a things for the moderator to do thread. Either way, as long as it stays up here for the time being, I guess it's not urgent that it be stickied.

Some thoughts...

Need to develop a strategy to recruit new players.

What about developing the need-based economy you've been talking about Ice?

Well, robboo, georgeop and BCLG are all opposed to it. And they have seniority. They feel it will get to complicated, but I was willing to run everything for them. A few more people now want a need-based economy, so maybe I could start pushing for it again.

In regards to recruiting players, I'm hot out of ideas. We've sent a letter to Thunderfall asking to announce the openning of the CivIV Demogame: RPG on the main page, but he denied it.We all have some refrence to the demogame in our sig.

I also think we need just a little more organization. The rules differ from post to post. If BCLG doesn't mind I'm going to make a thread called "The New RPG Rules", ask chieftess to sticky it, and unsticky the old rules, and the thread called "The new and improved demogame" or whatever.


Matter of fact, that last paragragh is part of a list of things to do
