Load a saved game from CIV 6 player who has DLC

Hello

I'd like to open a saved game from another player who was running with the Poland DLC - as far as I am aware, the Poles were not one of the players in this particular saved game, but because I do not have this DLC myself I am prevented from opening it.

Is there any way around this?

Buying the DLC is probably the easiest solution. Or you could tell your friend to deactivate his DLCs when he's going to give you a save.

IIRC there is a console command to temporary remove the check for mods/DLC when loading a saved game.

But there are some chances that the game will crash on load or will be instable.

Enabling the console requires to edit one of the game's ini files in Documents then press ~ in game (the main menu, before loading of course) and type "help" to list the console commands (there is a small down arrow to show the console as a small windows)
