Local Network Desynch

Having an issue for months with local network multiplayer games. Two computers with similar specs on the same network, both using Ethernet and not wifi, no matter who hosts, about 10 turns in, whoever is not hosting desynchs from the game every turn. This is a problem, we are both big fans of the Civ franchise going back to DOS, and have multiplayed every Civ possible for years, but Civ 6 is the first to ever cause this problem, making it unplayable for us.

Some people have this problem, some don't, not sure why we have the problem. We have adjusted firewalls, have superior internet connectivity, adjusted priority, and still the issue persists. We are using all the same settings, have the same expansions, we have identical setups in Windows and in game, still, constant desynchs happen reliably every time we try. Honesty, it makes us both want to just stop playing the game altogether. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have had this problem ever since civ5 and civ6. Randomly every turn, randomly can make it full game without it.

My solution for civ6 is nice. You get an alert when someone is desyncing and they get put back into loading screen (they auto rejoin) so just do NOT end your turn until they say "IM BACK". if you end your turn AI will take over and mess up all their stuff.
With civ5 it really sucked, cause they didn't know they desynced until they saw the map all weird and such.
