That's an interesting possibility, but I was more thinking along the lines of a prolonged WWI with devastating economic and geopolitical effects in Europe... We shall see.

Religion: Trinity Voodooism is the main relgion of the Twareg. They beleive (suprisingly enough) a trinity that makes up one whole. Their is also a host of minor semi "mortal" dieties that are worshiped. The trinity is made up of the earth, the sky, and water. The three main gods, have no face, or image that can be replicated, because they represent everything that exsists. However the lesser mortal gods do have an image that they can be associated with. These minor dietes are important because they are concidered to be physical beings and are mortal.

The main days that they concider sacred is the winter, spring, summer, and fall eqonoxis. They concider this to be important because it determines when and what crops can be grown and each season is associated with part of the trinity and also with several minor deities. During these seasons the preists use special instrements, and burn insence to try to cast spells to appease the minor gods, and trinity.

I have planned a religious and militaraily strong nation based on trade and goods from colonies while controling and exploiting trade routes and launching holy wars.

Now i finally succeded, only to see the contol of trade to be withered Away by a treaty, and the retreat of settlers, ending in radicalism and the death of a very promising Nes.

Have you ever heard od jal's fast and simple Nes ? This reminded me of it in a good way. Maybe we can move a little closer to that system. As wellas traded economy for stat, then risk stats for economy(send army for slaves, tax trade orpopulation ect)

I would be glad to do so

But right now I am thinking along the lines of an "industrial fresh start", probably with a non-Earth map. Players would submit a description of their nation with a reasonably detailed history to set up a workable background for their country, then in Update 1 I would set up all the various nations with a geopolitical "board", of circumstance and place them on the map... I owe Ninja Dude the idea for said "industrial fresh start", and would like to see what you all think...

Actually, I'd probably want to encourage shameless undiscriminating colonialistic imperialism, with lots of bloody wars and such. It would be based off an idea proposed by Ninja Dude in the New NESes thread, with a combined ruleset from Six Month War, JNES: Path to Empire, and BombNES: Age of Imperialism.

I'm pretty attached to the idea by this point, so I'm glad you're interested

Yes! This will be awesome, But I ask that you do not start this until I return from my vacation which I have limited internet access and I really want to do this . But for a thought.. Again LoE get on Aim while I am on it.. Right now for not much longer..
